Grand Rythms: here are a collection of recordings made originally on 4 track cassette. Date somewhere between 1993 & 1997. These are all live jam sessions, meaning off the top of our noggins with no rehearsal or metronome. Only four mics were used to record this material in a room 12'x12' all egg cartoned for sound absorbtion. My playing has changed somewhat since these early days but many of the grooves have evolved into something larger than the originals. I'm looking to sort of take over where I left off with arrangements like "Mudslide" where we were literally playing off each others licks. Now though I hope to get more "ahead of time" arranging with the interaction of a bass player and guitar.
